You can name a GP if you wish (so long as they are working today), you may prefer a telephone, email or face to face response. You can sign up now, with no paperwork
How do I make a request?
To register a new askmyGP account and submit a request to your practice, please follow the steps in the video demo below:
Once you have sent your request, please look out for your response directly from the doctor. This is usually within the hour with details of appointment times.
Employer of the year
Hawkley Brook Medical Practice are delighted to have won an award for “Employer of the year” at the prestigious Greater Manchester Health and Care awards 2023!
The award was in recognition of becoming the first Health or social care organisation in Greater Manchester to become full members of the Good Employment Charter – guaranteeing good working conditions and superior pay for all our staff.
We had a great night at the award ceremony and enjoyed celebrating with all of the other fantastic nominees.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or book / cancel appointments.

SWAN PCN
SWAN Primary Care Network consists of 8 local GP practices located in South Wigan Ashton North area including Hawkley Brook Medical Practice.
SWAN PCN have a collective patient population of 34,000 and we believe we are the optimum size to enable us to continue to work effectively together and improve patient services and health outcomes.
Access & Parking
Our building has easy access for all our disabled patients; there are automatic double doors, lifts and disabled toilets.
There are a number of car parking spaces situated around the Health Centre. Please do not park in the spaces provided for the doctors’ use.
